Dear Solid Ground Family,

Our First Parent's Night Out was a great success! The kids had a wonderful time! We played games in the Fellowship Hall with foam balls and with two new inflatable balls with icebreaker questions. The parents loved getting a little time together and are looking forward to the next Parent's Night Out.

Parent's Night Out has turned out to be a great outreach to our Alta Loma Christian School Families! Twenty-five kids were at our first event! Eight kids were from families that attend both Solid Ground and ALCS. Fifteen were kids that attend ALCS, but do not attend Solid Ground, and two were friends and neighbors of an ALCS family.

Our desire is to not only continue, but to expand this program. We would like to make Parents' Night Out a little more structured with different activity centers available and a presentation of the Good News about Jesus. We also plan to have more volunteers and open the Nursery separately. Please pray for us as we reach out to these families with Jesus' love. God has given us an awesome opportunity here and my desire is that He use us to further His Kingdom. I really believe that He is doing something really amazing.

Remember that Parent's Night Out is not just open to ALCS families but to the entire Church and to your friends as well. This is a great way to reach out to a neighbor or co-worker. A way for them to learn that Church isn't a scary place, but a friendly, caring place. So, bring your kids to Parents Night Out on Friday, March 9th! Your kids will love it here, and you will love having a chance to go out to dinner, or go shopping, and go out for coffee, or just enjoy a peaceful house. Don't forget to invite your friends to bring their kids! We will have games and other activities earlier in the evening, then we will have a gospel presentation, and later in the evening we will be watching the movie Cars! You can sign kids in or out between 7:00 and 10:30 pm on Friday, March 9th. So, mark your calendars and join the fun!

In Jesus Wonderful Love,

Mrs. Lindy
